Theavy Ty is our Community-Based Ecotourism Business Development
Officer. He is in charge of the Chi Phat CBET Committee business
development and English training. Before joining Wildlife Alliance in
2008, Theavy was a freelance guide for ACT, Star Asia, and World Pop
Tour Company in Cambodia. He was the president of the Khmer
Organization for Health and Art in 2006 where he supervised the planning
and fundraising for training in nursing care, public health, and
anatomy. He also worked as an English teacher at the Asia Pacific
University of Phnom Penh, Cambodia after completing TOEFL in the UK and
providing English teaching to vulnerable people and orphans for a local
organization. Theavy holds a BA of Education in Pedagogy from Build
Bright University, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
