History of Trapeang Krang ,Trapeang Roung Eco Tourism site, Koh Kong district, Koh Kong province

(Written by Ty Theavy)
This field is called Trapeang Krang. The reason for this is that; there is a pond in this field which has no water during the dry season. Trapeang in Cambodian language means pond in English, and Krang mean dry or without water. During the rainy season it is a good place to see some wild animals such as mouse deers, barking deers, wild pigs. At this time of the year the animals come here to drink. This field is 200 meters long and 200 wide. It is about 6 Kilometers from the dwelling place called Dom Nak Phnhiev. Whiles the pond is 30 meters long and 30 meters wide. It has a square shape. This field is rich of Jabolifera trees. The field has a beautiful emerald green colour during the dry season.
